Full-time and part-time day care services
Covenant Child Care Center is a non-profit center sponsored as a part of Covenant United Methodist Church's community outreach ministry. It provides licensed full-time and part-time child care
for ages six weeks through preschool. It is open to children without regard to sex, race, color, religious creed, national origin, or age - excepting for license requirements - in accordance with State and Federal civil rights laws.
HOURS:
7:00 am to 5:30 pm
Monday through Friday
Full-time and part-time care throughout the year
Closed on scheduled holidays, normally including:
- New Year’s Day
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- July Fourth
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
TUITION:
- Available upon request
- Include a limited number of sick/vacation days at half-rate
- We accept CCIS

PROGRAMS:
Programs are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Programs and staff meet or exceed ALL regulations pertaining to child care.
Infant Program: 6 weeks to 1 year
- Provides nurture that follows each child's individual daily routines.
Toddler Program: 1-2 years (young toddlers), 2 yrs-3 yrs (older toddlers)
- Weekly themes
- Learns colors, shapes, numbers, and animals
- Learns to identify one's name by sight
- Learns to play with others
- Small and large muscle activity
- Regular outings - walks outside or plays in church play area, weather determined
Preschool Program: 3 yrs to Kindergarten entry
- Letter of the week and weekly themes
- Learns to be self-sufficient
- Small and large muscle activity
- Learns to write letters, one's name, letter sounds and words that begin with that sound
- Learns shapes and identifying them in the room
- Learns about the calendar and seasons
- Learns self-control through Circle Time, Learning Centers, and Chapel Time
